July 9 Cody to Thermopolis

We went to the Buffalo Bill Museum. It is like 5 museums in one. Buffalo Bill is an interesting fellow. He brought to life the west and the cowboy in a show for others to see. There were sculptures from Frederick Remington, landscapes by Albert Bierstadt, Custer’s Last Stand by Russell, illustrations by N C Wyeth, and D H Hoehner.
Off to Thermopolis – the self proclaimed largest hot springs in the world. We swam and rode slides into warm, sulfur water. They had spas of different temperatures to sit in. It is right next to a buffalo farm. Our friends the Newkirks met us there - John, Melissa, Mandy, Katie, and Sarah (only 2 months old) with Melissa’s parents. I got to hold Sarah which was a delight.
